CB-WD II - Chad Butler's Soltice Wandering Didge II

From a post to the Didjeridu List by Chad Butler,... July 1, 2003.

Okay, I'm looking at sending this stick off at the end of the week to one Martin Schiff, whose address I need again, along with alot of info from a bunch of others intending to be on my list so if YOU think you want to recieve my WD2 contribution get back in touch with me to make sure I have your current shipping addresses. Fed -Ex seems to be cheaper when mailing to business addresses so if that works for you it'll work nice for the shipper in keeping the costs down low. Because of the fact that my didge is bigger and heavier and therefore more costly to ship I'm wishing that this didge can spend maybe three weeks with each recipient rather than rushed stays. I'm also wishing that we can be okay with handoffs in keeping with spirit of community even when they're non-sequential rather than insisting on sequential mailings, this means that one's scheduled time for receiving it can change as the list grows. Don't worry, it's own timelessness may bring that same freedom to your own life, if even just for a few fleeting moments....I also wish to express my desire for it to end up getting scheduled in such a way that it can attend all the major U.S. didge festivals. It'd be cool if all the current WD's could do that. Please contact me at my low volume e-mail account to make certain that your responses don't get lost in the fray, that address would be didjcrafter@bhumsiva.com

Aum shanti, chad butler

p.s. this wandering didge was made as my workshop demo at John Madills Solstice Gathering. It was made as a gift to community both in sharing knowledge and as a stick to pass around forever amoungst community. There is no limit to the number of people signing up to recieve it, I will do my best to assist it along it's journey and will add a mapping system for it at my website www.bhumsiva.com, which is currently still just holding LAST years dates for In-Didj-In-Us which should now read 8th annual gathering of the Didjeridu Tribe August 8-10 2003, all other info is correct.
